Undertaken new challenges

I bought a gym membership to work on another kind of fitness that jogging can’t necessarily give me. Working on muscle strength is something I could achieve with the equipment at a prefessional gym. With the help of instructors at the gym,

Planned and initiated activities

I scheduled times at the gym where I could work with and take advice from an instructor. This kind of professional help really taught me how to create my own fitness program, so if I join another gym in the future, I know what kind of exercises I need to do. Planning this in advance really encouraged me to take out a cuople hours and go to the gym whenever I had time.

Developed new skills

Using machines and weights at the gym taught me skills I could not have acquired by running in my spare time. I learned a different kind of training that I also hope to continue through university and in the future. I now know how to create my own workout program and follow it on my own.
